Balò Children Ireland
In Ireland the Balò Coordinator is Liam Ashe who visits Calcutta and works as a volunteer with the children of Balò every year. Members of Balò Children Ireland fundraise in various ways, through awareness raising and exchange travel arrangements with a local high school. Thanks to the activities of the Irish members, the activities of Balò are known in the County of Claire and this allows funds to be raised to support the projects of Balò in India. In addition, two Irish companies came together and gave substantial financial support for the construction project for the new school.
Balò USA
In the USA our coordinator is Anne Buto Leache, a Seattle teacher and volunteer who came into contact with the reality in which Balò operates in 2005. She and the members of Balò USA share the vision and mission of Balò ODV and with their support and work contribute to the funds for the projects of Balò in Kolkata. The fundraising method used by Balò USA is that of Crowdfunding which has led to excellent results.
